After steady duty with Team Zyte, Leonel Monentes decided to retire at the age of 36 years. He has been a good rider for the team, as he both got the results himself, as well as helped others to victory.
Monentes conquered 3 races in his career, and two top-3 positions all in the best division, however, his main role has always been to help the younger riders on the team with his experience on the roads.
Team Zyte is thankful for the cooperation and wishes Leonel Monentes the best in his future, whatever it may contain!

I haven't been looking for young talents yet. I want to finish the current team at first. Then for a completely new tea - building up from scratch, except the money!
Currently, only one other rider has planned his retirement. Waiting for the others to retire as well.
Luckily though you're loaded!! So it will be interesting to see what new talents you find to replace them! :-)
Sad to see hm go :(
He's the first of many. You've got an old team compared to many and theres a few that are getting to that age.
